 Embedded C++ Developer

BE/BTECH/MTECH (CS/ECE/IS/EEE) (2-7 years)

* Practical exposure to Embedded Software development using RTOS. Prior experience with any RTOS (Optional)

* Languages: C++ using OOAD and UML concepts
* Good programming and debugging skills (C++) for multithreaded software development
* Experience in solving field issues. Solution-reporting skills are an added advantage.
* Good communication skills
* Working knowledge of Multithreading and Synchronization mechanisms in Real Time Operating Systems for embedded systems
* Able to provide resolution of software problems instead of Experience in solving field issues. Solution-reporting skills are an added advantage.

r Linux Kernel and Driver Developer (2-5yrs of Exp)

BE/BTECH/MTECH (CS/ECE/IS/EEE)

Role : Embedded C++ Developer (Engineer / Senior Engineer / Specialist / Team Lead)

Skill set:

 ·         More than 2 years of Linux embedded software development experience

 ·         Familiarity with ARM processors is desirable.

 ·         Experience in any of the following drivers:

 ·         USB, Serial, Bluetooth, TCP/IP, Ethernet

 ·         Comfortable working with embedded hardware and tools such as JTAG debuggers (Lauterbach)

 ·         Good programming and debugging skills in "C" for multithreaded software development

 ·         Skills in POSIX programming / Linux Kernel programming is desirable

 ·         Knowledge in software Configuration Management using Clearcase is preferred

 ·         Working Knowledge of Linux flavours like Linaro, MeeGo, Maemo, GENIVI, Montavista Linux

Responsibilities:

 ·         Involved with all phases of the software development life cycle – requirements analysis, development, implementation, and testing

 ·         Designing new embedded Linux-driver and writing related specifications and design documents

 ·         Customizing and building Linux kernels, drivers and root file systems
