Job Description : Involve in the cutting-edge technology in the area of WLAN 802.11 Firmware and product development. Will also have an opportunity to patent original ideas and contribute to standardization for upcoming WLAN based standards and interact with the best in the industry.
Desired Profile / Roles:
- Should have working experience and expertise in one or more areas listed below:
- Very strong coding & debugging skills in C
- Very strong knowledge and experience in Linux device driver development.
- Good knowledge of wireless and networking subsystems in the Linux kernel and user space wireless apps including wpa_supplicant and hostapd
- Strong domain knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n, AAA (802.1x, RADIUS) technologies.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack and developing networking applications on Linux
- Knowledge of one or more of the industrial computer system bus such as PCI, USB and etc.
- Experience in working with embedded processors
- Strong in OS concepts such as scheduling, multi-threading, processes, SMP, inter process communication etc...
- Knowledge of 802.11 mesh networks, P2P, other relevant networking protocols (eg Ethernet).
- Exposure to WiFi certification testing (WPA/WPA2/WiFi Direct, WPS) on a Linux based station and AP solution
