BS/MS in CS, EE or equivalent. Minimum of 15 years developing low level embedded software, leading collaborative SW/silicon development and demonstrated success in designing and leading implementation of complex software architectures to aggressive deadlines.
Must have demonstrated leadership in broadly influencing technical direction at the corporate and/or industry level. Minimum 10 years experience with of Windows frameworks and driver/HAL interfaces and GFX and media processing at the HW interface (Win 8 preferably). Deep familiarity with power management architecture and security/DRM/conditional access implementations is also required. Knowledge of IA/PC system architecture and experience with development of consumer based devices such as tablets, mobile phones or set top boxes is highly desirable. Top notch communication and relationship building skills are critical in order to influence a variety of internal and external stakeholders including developers, managers, customers and executives. The successful candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup like environment.
