Job Description
This person will be responsible for strategic and tactile marketing for Extensible Processing Platforms (EPP) embedded software development tools. The primary mission is to create and execute strategies that ensure robust and effective product development flows for customer success including creation of messaging content regarding these products. Working with customers and internal vertical marketing teams, determine the market requirements for development tools and flows which will enable and drive growth for EPP product portfolio. Execution of the strategy interweaves external ecosystem partners and internal development teams, and includes advocacy of the solution with customers and sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conceive an Embedded Development Tools strategy and align with overall strategic plans.
- Create an embedded tools business plan and product roadmap based on the strategic plan to execute the strategy, including market analysis, segmentation, business cases, and revenue impact
- Develop MRDs to capture and enumerate requirements
- Product management and marketing for next generation internally developed software tools and IP
· Sales mobilization, including positioning statements, value propositions, sales kits, web content competitive responses and other product-specific collateral to empower the sales force to sell and position our solutions into the customer base. This also includes tradeshow and event presentations, booth support, demos, etc.
· Work with Tech Marketing and Applications on competitive analysis, positioning and response

Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of direct experience with EDA to the embedded and/or semiconductor market is required, with at least 4 years in a product marketing role
Extensive knowledge of Embedded Design Tool and IP methodology flows and their requirements is a must
Must be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership and strategic thought
Possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; MBA preferred.
San Jose based position with a willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time required.
