Job Responsibilities : 
Develop concept of audio and speech enhancement processing
Functional/Industry Knowledge Required:
- Expertise in speech or audio and signal processing
- C and Matlab programming experience
- DSP, C-fixed implementation experience
- Excellent communicator (both in writing and verbally)
- Good English (written and spoken)
- Team player
- Must be able to work with people in many different cultures
Desired:
- Speech enhancement processing (echo cancellation, noise reduction, multi-channel enhancement)
- Audio effect (post-processing)
- Sampling Rate Conversion
- VoIP system, Jitter buffer management
- Speech Recognition
- Experience with implementing audio algorithms on embedded systems
- Proven audio related experimental skills and lab/bench expertise
- Experience with assessing audio quality and performance of audio processing algorithms
- Knowledge about cellular systems specifically related to voice calls.
- Knowledge of speech and audio related standards (3GPP, GSM, ITU-T)
Education
Preferred Degree: PhD, MSc
Preferred Major: Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Telecommunication
