-Strong background in semiconductor device physics and characterization particularly in silicon platform is required
-Familiarity with industry standard BSIM or PSP models
-Experience with EDA tools like Cadence, Spectre, HSpice and ADS
-Excellent written & oral communication skills, -Excellent Technical leadership skills
-Direct working experience with foundaries desired



Manage and lead a strong technical team to effectively:
o        Develop compact models for FETs and passive devices like diodes, resistors, inductors , capacitors
o        Design testsites and define test programs for RF/DC characterization
o        Work closely with globally integrated team of device modelers, technology developers and circuit designers.
o        Client interfacing to address concerns on device models, PDK or circuit performance

SoC Design -13+yrs required.Manage a team of people (both internal and sub-contractors) 
Good team player, must work well with the team and external cross-functional teams (Program Manager, PE, Apps, Spec, Package) 
End-to-end SoC design, Automotive/Safety protocols, Direct interface to customer 
Planning, tracking, ensuring QC/Review of each deliverable during SoC development 
Design and validation of SoC system that includes CPU, Interconnect and peripheral IP modules commonly used for various functions in automotive systems. Some IPs include : 
Real-time BIST controllers, CRC/ECC modules, Switched Central Resource (OCP Switch Fabric) 
Micro-coded timers, Flash Controller, PWM and capture modules 
Digital wrappers for Analog interfaces like ADC, PLL, PHYs, Power Management
Adaptation of Flexray/CAN/LIN controllers, MibSPI, Ethernet MAC 
Planning SoC verification environment and tests using a coverage driven methodology, and AMS verification for Analog IPs 
Participating and driving key aspects of SoC Architecture Specification, including meeting Automotive quality 
Working closely with the team to ensure proper integration and usage of the IP 
Driving internal/IO timing constraints, and working closely with IP folks on correct porting of IP constraints 
Driving integration verification and scenarios to cover the SoC usage in system context 
Enabling 0-DPPM DFT coverage, with BIST/Loopback for at-speed coverage, wherever applicable 
Participation in silicon bring up/debug of the SoC

C' programmers (preferably Control  systems/ embedded areas), 3 - 4 
years experience with at least 1 year in C. Preference would be given to
candidates who have worked on and installation and maintenance of the 
steel mill control systems.
Knowledge of Japanese language is an advantage
Initial posting would be in Cochin followed by training in Japan for a year. Subsequently they would have to assist the Japanese client to implement the steel mill control systems in Eastern India and Gujarat.
