Additional qualifications include:
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Solid working knowledge of Windows OS Architecture and Win32API for Tablets.
-Hands on experience with Device Driver Development and Application Development Environments for Windows (Visual Studio, WinDbg, Windows DDK, WDK, WDF etc).
-Familiar with source code build, configuration management and bug tracking/reporting tools for closed source projects.
-Strong root-cause analysis and triaging skills for complex SW Systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft* SDK's* and diagnostic utilities
- Previous sub-system software consumer device (STB, smart phone, tablet) debugging experience would be an added advantage
- Self-driven and ability to multitask effectively.

Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

- Minimum of 10 years developing software drivers and/or embedded firmware including experience with complex embedded systems and/or high performance GFX and video/audio processing.
- 10 years experience in C programming and SW design skills.
- 10 years of solid knowledge of Windows internals, drivers and RTOS concepts is required.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of IA/PC system architecture and experience with development of consumer based devices such as tablets (touchscreens), mobile phones or set top boxes is highly desirable.  Must be passionate in regard to a quality first approach to SW development and familiar with Agile based SW development and defect tracking methods.

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 10-17  years experience in ASIC Design Verification
• Experience in Graphics or Multimedia domains is a plus
• Must have excellent knowledge of ASIC Design Flow
• Experience in developing complex  test bench/model in verilog, System verilog or SystemC
• Experience with coverage-based verification methodology
• Experience in writing test plans and test cases
• Excellent debug skills in both functional and gate level simulations are must.
• Experience in random test generation, coverage analysis, failure debug, formal equivalency checking, and Assertions (PSL, SVA)
• Strong Verilog, System Verilog, PLI interface, SystemC or C/C++, Perl/shell scripts or Vera programming skills.
• Experience with emulation based verification and/or simulation acceleration techniques an asset
• Must have good communication skills and the ability and desire to foster a team environment.
