1)    Software Project Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer, Location: Minnesota U.S.A.

Qualification 
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical or software engineering. MS in Biomedical or other engineering discipline preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 7-10 years of experience in embedded software/firmware design and development for medical devices required, preferably with implantable medical devices. Experience in design and development of firmware for FDA approved medical devices required. 
Desirable Skills: Familiarity with MSP430 processors is a plus. 

Mandatory Skills: Medical Device industry experience

Job Description: The QiG group of Greatbatch Inc. is looking for a Software Project Engineer. This position will be responsible for the design and development of firmware for implantable stimulation systems, working closely with the Electrical Team to generate system functional requirements and verification test plans. 

2) Digital Hardware Engineer, Location: Ohio USA
Qualification 
§ Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field. 7+ years of hands-on design experience with a minimum of 3 years working on medical devices or similar regulated industry.
§ Experience with establishing system requirements, system design and prototyping, verification and validation, risk analysis/FMEA and system testing
§ Experience in development, testing and evaluation of implantable devices
§ Presentation, interpersonal, communication, follow-through and organizational skills
§ Ability to analyze data, apply statistical methods and interpret results
§ Self motivation as well as the ability to function comfortably in a team environment is critical
§ Work effectively with coworkers at all levels
§ Ability to complete projects following product development guidelines on a timely basis, within scope, in budget, and with minimal supervision
§ Work well in a cross-functional team that includes internal and external customers
§ Working knowledge of GMP, ISO and FDA regulations and expertise in design controls within a regulated industry
§ Ability to mentor less experienced engineers and technicians
§ Drives speed and innovation without sacrificing quality and cost
§ Experience with ASIC design, Verilog, VHDL, synthesis, design, simulation and verification tools and techniques
§ Xilinx Spartan series FPGA development environment
§ Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) tools, techniques, and best practices
§ Familiar with implementing custom communication protocols
§ Hand-on experience with commercial RF hardware and protocols such as BlueTooth, Wifi, Zigbee, WiMax, etc.
§ Desirable Skills: Experience with LabView, C, C#, C++, Python, Matlab and other programming languages. 

Mandatory Skills: Implantable medical device.
